I've noticed a pattern of instability since upgrading to Windows 12 Gen about two months ago. Frequently the system freezes or crashes, sometimes even shutting down completely. Previously it happened more often until I reinstalled Windows. Nowadays, most modern titles (GTA V, Cyberpunk, Destiny 2, ARK) only allow play for 5 to 10 minutes before crashing. I've run several diagnostic commands—SFC, CHKDSK, MemoryDiagnostic—but everything came back clean. I also checked the Resource and Performance Monitor diagnostics, but they kept looping without showing results. I attached the Minidump files. Some error codes appeared: Spoiler CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER, ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY, KMODE_EXCEMPTION_NOT_HANDLED, SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, UNEXPECTED_KERNAL_MODE_TRAP. These codes seem more frequent after the Windows reinstall. Here are my system details: Motherboard – ASUS ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi (BIOS 2004/2022), CPU – Intel Core i9-12900K, Cooler – IceGiant ProSiphon Elite, RAM – G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB 32GB, Graphics – GIGABYTE RTX 3090 Ti, 24GB, PSU – EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G6, Storage – XPG 2TB, OS – Windows 11 Home Edition. This is my first attempt posting; please forgive any errors. Thank you for your time and assistance. Minidump.zip

Consider disabling XMP on the RAM to check for crashes. I understand the memory test was performed, but real-world usage can trigger failures that testing might not capture, leading to endless runs without errors.

Pick up one ram stick, place it on a single stick, test each separately in the machine, check for any crashes.

It seems to function, but is your system still operating smoothly? The performance might be limited.

Consider running a malware check just in case, since malicious software can hinder your computer's performance and lead to crashes.

Your antivirus runs a check each time you start your PC (Bitdefender).

Once or twice Bitdefender caused a complete crash, erasing everything on my PC and locking up the drive. LMAO!

Consider checking CPU, motherboard, and power supply options since none are straightforward to troubleshoot. Have you attempted CPU stress tests without GPU load?
