I’m trying to explain the situation as I assist a friend with this problem. The CPU is a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the GPU is an MSI RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G Ventus 3X Mobo, and the motherboard is Gigabyte B650M Gaming X AX RAM. The RAM is G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB with 32GB DDR5-7200 speed and a CL34 PSU. There’s been intermittent crashes during gameplay, especially in Marvel Rivals and Baldur's Gate III. The issue started after the last update via GeForce Experience, but thermal readings are normal. On the first setup, RAM problems caused crashes, though seating the sticks correctly resolved it. I’m looking for guidance on troubleshooting steps or checks to diagnose further. Appreciate any advice!

Sure, it might work with less RAM. Consider skipping XMP settings.

I suspect XMP might be turned off, but I'll verify. To check further, there are alternative methods to determine if RAM issues remain.

memtest86... though it keeps crashing even after applying xmp or any overclocking, it's probably not due to RAM issues. The issue usually lies with the CPU's memory controller struggling to handle faster RAM speeds, especially beyond around 5000 MHz.

We performed memtest during our initial problems, once the seating issue was resolved everything works fine. I’m able to run it again just to confirm nothing was disturbed.
