I'm facing issues when trying to boost my Q6600, it keeps showing a black screen and no video input. Since I'm new to overclocking, I was expecting this problem. If anyone has advice on how to properly increase the performance of a Q6600 on an ASROCK G41M-VS3, please share your tips. I'm looking forward to your responses. Thank you.

I can't capture images directly. However, I can describe your bios menus clearly. G41 is a low-end chipset with limited FSB options compared to g31, yet it still supports running at 3 GHz as long as you adjust the FSB to 333.

The motherboard has a faulty chipset for overclocking, but its VRM is very weak with limited space for boosting.

It will require a powerful cooler or an AIO to manage the heat. This kind of overclocking follows a different approach compared to what's common today, so you should research it thoroughly.

You can reach 3.0GHz simply by adjusting the BCLK to 333. I’ve used a Q6600 at that frequency with a BSEL tape on a Q45-based HP dc7900 SFF for many years.

In comparison to previous models, reaching frequencies like 2400 MHz, 3200 MHz or even 3600 MHz was straightforward. Going as high as 4000 MHz became achievable on a solid board. I hope future upgrades can be boosted by 60% to 70%. @PennylessGaming237 The BIOS screenshots in this video might offer guidance on overclocking the Q6600, especially keeping memory speeds in check.

The setup is mainly about the board. 3GHz should work with standard voltage, I believe. I owned 3 or 4 units and only one had a 4000MHz, which was extremely challenging to cool, even at 3400MHz. The rest all ran smoothly at 3800MHz with different voltages.
