Repeated accidents involving the driver with no warning light activation
Windows 10 recently released an update that affected my GPU driver, making it incompatible. I switched to the AMD Adrenaline 23.5.2 driver but faced problems. The new version sometimes crashes during game launch. Recently, the crashes became more frequent: games would fail to load, then the display would disappear completely, followed by a sudden spike in GPU fan noise and the screen going dark. Even after turning off the PC, the issue persisted despite a hard reset. I had to disconnect everything, including the power cable, to restore the signal. The previous driver still didn’t work with Windows, suggesting a possible Windows or AMD issue. I’m unsure what to do next since I can’t revert the changes. Any advice would be appreciated.
You can revert your Windows update. Navigate to Settings > Update & Security, then select "View update history." In the top choice, click "Uninstall updates."
