I don’t support it for version 8.1, Windows 10 doesn’t allow me to run it.

Usb format is typically FAT32 or NTFS. I recall using FAT32 on some Microsoft surfaces before.

I finally resolved the tablet issue by trying to install Windows 10 64 bit on the tablet, but it didn’t work (the app wouldn’t run). I’m not sure if the USB setup was the issue, since I’ve done it myself and used Rufus too. I’ll also share some bios images to help others understand the problem better.

It seems related to secure boot functionality. Consider turning it off and back on after reinstalling Windows 10 from the USB drive.

It's quite strange to hear, but when you created the USB with Rufus did you select UEFI only? Not the hybrid MBR setup that Rufus uses by default, but a pure UEFI/GPT configuration. I noticed a minor issue on my Cube i7 book during the downgrade from 10 to 8.1—it can be bothersome. For drivers, the Snappy installer might be your best option https://sdi-tool.org/

Used the settings you recommended on Rufus, but the drive still won’t boot. I’ll try Snappy once the tablet starts working again—maybe I messed up earlier. Also attempted SDI, but no drivers were detected.

It might be the USB port of that device. I experienced a similar issue before, initially assuming it was the USB drive, but later discovered my ports were the cause.

I considered it too but now I can manage devices with multiple ports (mouse, keyboard, WiFi adapters, and external drives)
