you currently have 16gb of 2400mhz ram on your asus z270-k board. you bought more 16gb ddr4 3000 memory recently. it’s worth checking whether adding this will significantly boost performance or if swapping the existing setup would be better.

32gb is consistently superior to 16gb, though gaming on a PC may not notice the difference. Adding 3000mhz RAM can cause the system to operate at 2400mhz unless both components are overclocked.

Using various memory types on the same device often causes problems. You’d need to lower the 3000MHz speed to 2400MHz, but this might lead to instability.
