Removed power limit for Gigabyte B660M DS3H DDR4 & i3 12100f
Hi, i'm trying to adjust the power limit but it doesn't work. The CPU still reaches 4090ghz. My PC specs are:
- 1-INTEL CORE I3-12100F
- 2-GIGABYTE B660M DS3H DDR4 (last model f22)
- Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16
- GIGABYTE P750GM V2 750w 80 Plus (v2)
- Thermalright Assassin X 120 SE CPU Air Cooler
- XFX Speedster QICK308 Radeon RX 6650XT Ultra Gaming
What is the reason for wanting to remove the power limits? What advantages or improvements are anticipated? The expected outcomes should be measurable. It is probable that existing controls exist to block removal of these limits or automatically revert them to allowed power levels if someone tries to surpass them. Additionally, it seems that increasing power capacity may offer minimal benefits while increasing risks and costs. Further details are required.
According to the report, I addressed the issue by implementing the necessary adjustments.
I don't understand.
The request was to remove the post based on an OP's suggestion of a "fix".
I labeled the post SOLVED and declined the deletion.
No details about the "fix" were provided.
the i3-12100f i drop frame in my game win i open google crhome, so I was checking the frequency listed on Intel's site—4300ghz, which I hadn't seen before. Now I realize it's 4300, and Intel's mistake is making two cores run at 43 while the other stays off.
