When I tweak the volume, the indicator appears. This is really bothersome while playing games since I can't move the screen. Can I get rid of it? I only want to hear the sound, not see the volume display.

It is integrated within the application when your display device is connected.

It appears to be non-standard Windows software, probably from the producer. Is this the manufacturer's name?

It seems like that's not a HP product at all.

This wouldn't appear in a screenshot at all.

I initially attempted the snipping tool, but it didn't display properly, so I resorted to using the print screen function.

It seems you're likely unable to remove it, but you might be able to bypass it by turning the volume up to the maximum and relying on the Windows volume control slider instead. It probably shows up only when using keyboard volume keys.

It seems to be related to a third-party soundcard. Review your notification tray for other audio applications and adjust their settings. If nothing appears, it could be a background program. Examine the programs you have installed for any similar ones. What type of device are you using?
