You're experiencing persistent full-screen ads and warning screens claiming incompatibility with Windows 11. It seems like a recurring issue, possibly related to a virus or malware trying to trick you into paying for support. Microsoft's approach of requiring a "Remind me later" action is frustrating. To permanently disable these notifications, you can try editing the registry for any relevant entries or uninstalling potential threats. If the problem persists, consider running a full system scan with Windows Defender or a trusted antivirus tool.

It's frustrating when something feels off. You could change the name of RUXIMIH.exe elsewhere in C:\Program Files\RUXIM and remove the PLUGScheduler entry from Task Scheduler under that folder. I'm lucky my system works because it uses MBR, so Secure Boot isn't a problem. Just let me know if you need more help.

I’d just switch to Windows 11 Pro, strip it down, and cut out the telemetry. There are tools like Explorer Patcher that can make Windows 11 resemble Windows 10. You could also try Chris Titus’ Winutil to delay feature updates. For a clean, stock-debloated setup, consider Tiny11 or Windows 11 Pro IoT Enterprise LTSC (probably what it’s called). If you prefer staying on version 10, check Group Policy settings and see what options are available.

Is this folder exclusive to Windows 10? It doesn’t appear on Windows 11 Pro.

I'm not sure. I've only noticed them when the full-screen alert shows up. If it's available in 11, it might be unnecessary or extra features.

I think I'll just have to wait a few weeks to check if the annoying notification keeps appearing. Thanks, Microsoft.

It’s actually not that bad after all, though some folks claim otherwise. People often prefer Windows 10 and resist changing, which is understandable. I’ve been using a Mac all my life until I moved to Windows a few years back (I really like Windows). But the interface of Windows 10 didn’t appeal to me at first. After just one year, I upgraded to Windows 11 right away. Unfortunately, I ended up disliking it too, just as others predicted. Eventually, I got it customized to my taste and now I thoroughly enjoy it.

Check if Win11 LTSC already exists; it might be better to skip it soon. If Windows 10 version 21H2 isn't enough even with ongoing security updates until 2032, I'm hesitant to switch just yet. I found a Windows 11 24H2 LTSC ISO available for download, but I'll be cautious before jumping in unless I can eliminate any annoying issues. It seems time flies, and I launched Windows 11 back in 2021—LTSC probably isn't around anymore.

You're encountering these warning messages on older laptops that aren't officially supported for Windows 11.

Sure thing. My i7 6700k isn’t recognized as a supported CPU. It’s even more frustrating that the ad just states “You can’t get Windows 11”… Right? I wasn’t interested anyway. The Windows 10 EOL is still more than 15 months away. My system still functions adequately for my needs, and there’s no compelling reason to upgrade a perfectly working machine for an OS I don’t want. Every time Microsoft reminds me about 11, it only makes me hesitant to upgrade further.
