Sure, hiding a drive by deleting its letter in Windows' Disc Management is a common method. It doesn’t usually damage the drive, but it will hide the partition from view. Since your EFI partition and Driver Disc are separate, removing their letters won’t affect each other unless they’re on the same drive. Just be sure to back up any important data before proceeding.

EFI shouldn't use a drive letter. Your device should be treated differently from C:—your disk isn't a CD but a separate storage unit.

The EFI partition usually doesn<|pad|>, so you can delete the drive letter safely.

It was provided as a distinct external drive. The system came pre-installed. Likely MSI chose to include it. It’s beneficial since Windows booted up without many needed drivers, such as the GPU one. Probably they use drivers they’re familiar with that aren’t part of Windows.
