Hello there,
I’m using an Intel Core i7-9700K with an RTX 2080 Super.
I keep the graphics settings stretched at high resolution and all, even with the lowest CPU settings.
My games run smoothly at most 50% CPU usage, but I’m stuck at around 350 FPS max and about 312 on average.
Could you suggest ways to break that ceiling without relying on console settings or commands?

Can a CS:GO game run smoothly on a 100% Core i5 or higher CPU?

An average of 312 fps is a lot more than you're going to need, with current monitors refreshing at a maximum of 240hz. Any particular reason why you want to get your fps higher?

50% of the CPU usage means the GPU is the main bottleneck, essentially maxing out.

CS:GO probably won't take full advantage of 8 cores since it relies on an outdated engine, making single-core performance more important. Even if you could get a higher framerate, the stability at 300-350 FPS would be sufficient for the game.

it is enough, but i just notice all these folks claiming they had 700 or tarik at 700fps during streaming, while i'm on 300.

Before 2015 I could consistently achieve over 400 frames per second with an i5-4670K, but after that the game updates reduced my performance significantly. Now, depending on the map, I'm seeing 350-500 FPS (for example Mirage) or 150-350 FPS (with a newer cache) using a 9900K. Also, those claims might not be entirely reliable.

mostly talking about streamers in the past. So you're basically saying valve is bad, and you want to protest to get at least two sources?
