The idea of a solution in that Reddit thread didn't come through clearly. Someone suggested using a win-aero tweeker, but it's unclear which trusted model or exact adjustments to apply. Are there other alternatives you'd like to explore?
Reddit won't help you with anything. If fact, in surprised you didn't get down voted into oblivion and banned for inciting a riot because you want options and not the default. Fucking Reddit. Sorry, I have personal problems against Reddit. You might want to look at registry keys. I don't believe there's a way in the windows options to change that. I will advise you do a lot of studying up on how registry keys work and back them up and back up the other necessary before you do. There's a registry key for changing windows 10 notepad color and all that. I use that feature heavily, but I don't know where the borders would be. You'll have to search for it. Sorry I can't help further, but at least it's not than you'll probably get on that site full of GigaKaren.
