Your friend's computer is acting up because of too many ads. He's trying to run an antivirus but keeps getting blocked by 109 ads on his screen. Even after removing all suspicious add-ons, the ads persist. The ads are from sites like DNSunlocker CinemaPlus. He still can't access some pages. get the malwarebytes installer on a different machine, and transfer it via USB or another method. A fresh setup might be simpler in this case...

Execute Malwarebytes, follow with CCleaner, then run Windows Defender.

Activate the ad-blocker, install the antivirus, clear cookies, remove temporary files, and delete suspicious folders and files. My friend also removed a folder named "Sun Java."

Just set it up right away. Much simpler than before. Even with all the instructions suggested by certain people, some issues might still remain undiscovered and create problems.

As everyone agrees, perform a fresh installation. Even after removing everything, there could remain hidden files in the registry, so opt for a clean setup. The process usually lasts about an hour.
