You can remove Java from your MacBook by using the built-in tools. Go to System Preferences → Applications → Java → Advanced, then click Uninstall Java. Make sure to save any changes before proceeding. If the plugin remains, try deleting the associated folder in Finder or using a third-party uninstaller.

For many users on these forums, it's common to include Chinese in your messages, including yourself. Have you tried restarting the system?

Yes, I'm comfortable with the terminal. It's a useful tool for managing your system.

people typically rely on Windows, with many familiarizing themselves with just one operating system. Most of us here use Windows, and generally it offers a very different experience compared to others. If someone hasn't tried it before, getting comfortable with basic features can be straightforward, though you'll need time to adjust.

I'm working on Windows Secondary now. Just to ensure compatibility, I need Microsoft Office installed.

I attempted to use the terminal to delete it, but when asked for a password it refused. I then tried removing the file, though Java seems missing but still appears in system settings. The message indicates Java isn't accessible.

It means the system is blocking access, showing no visible password. Just enter it directly and press enter.
