I've got an older Chromebook that's stuck with no more updates. It functions but runs slowly. I'm not concerned about damaging it, and I don't want to complain. Just curious if I can revive it and try a different Linux setup. I prefer Pop!_OS on my PC, which I really like. How should I proceed? Do you have any recent instructions? I'm new to Linux.

Consider keeping the original operating system intact. Linux might face compatibility issues later, potentially causing problems. With Chrome OS, you can still operate your device effectively.

It seems I assumed Chrome wouldn’t function without updates. Right now, I’m juggling several projects and need to prioritize before getting a proper laptop. I plan to test dual booting.
