Hello everyone! I just got a school Chromebook with strict restrictions—it feels more like a paperweight than a device. Any site with explicit content gets blocked, even the Google Play Store. They monitor all internet activity both at home and school. I’m trying to get it unenrolled from the school network so I can use it normally, but so far nothing’s worked. I’ve tried removing the back cover, taking off the bios lock screw, disconnecting the battery for a while, and plugging in a different power adapter to try enabling developer mode. The model is a Lenovo 300e. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Note: I’m taking full responsibility for any issues or policy breaches. I’m a dedicated student and don’t plan on using it for games or distractions during class. If you disagree with my actions, just let me know.
Are you the owner of this? If not, avoid interfering with devices you don't control. If you do own it, resetting it is straightforward using dev mode.
