I prefer a complete redesign similar to Black Mesa, particularly at a price point of $19.

It offers only minor updates for a "remastered" title, which makes it feel a lot more expensive than necessary.

The Command and Conquer fans wanted the classic version, but adapted it for today’s players. OpenRA has been available for years, though it doesn’t perfectly match the original experience. Some traditionalists are disappointed, but it offers the best modern approach. The original game remains quite challenging on newer systems.

I might think about it, though the cost feels discouraging given the low-quality graphics for the PlayStation 1 or N64. They should have preserved the gameplay and levels just as they were and improved the visuals beyond outdated standards.

Isn't this what they did? Have you never played the original version? The highest quality is around 640x480 now, while the remaster features 4K with detailed models beyond just large colored pixels. https://www.ea.com/games/command-and-con...remastered The $60 bundle is a good value if you enjoy owning the physical copies and want additional content. I recall receiving the 'limited edition' RA3 as a gift, priced near $60. CnC3 was around $45 new, while RA2 was about $40 at launch.

Black Mesa feels more like a reworked version rather than a complete rebuild. This game is essentially a remaster of the original, using the same engine but with updated visuals and polish. I’m pretty sure you’re not spending $60 on something old—it’s better to invest in a fresh start with the latest Frostbite engine instead.

They’re exploiting nostalgia, which is why C&C supporters expected it. It’s unlikely newcomers will be interested.

Alright, but that doesn't really make sense given the cost. Paying $15 seems a bit steep. The price difference isn't huge, but it better reflect what the remaster offers. I'm not claiming it's a bad deal; I just think the value isn't strong if you're just getting the same game with small updates that make it work on newer systems. If the collection had some of the sequels, the overall benefit would change. I'll note the improvements in graphics, but they don't seem to add much real value.
