I’m a privacy enthusiast and am updating several settings on my new PC. I’m curious about the top VPN solutions for PCs. Whether it’s ExpressVPN or NordVPN, I want to explore lesser-known or less public options that might match or exceed the security of major brands. I won’t be using Tails or torrent much. My setup includes a $2,500 machine running Linux on a laptop and an iOS device. The most crucial tool for security is my Windows 10 PC. Overall, I’m seeking the safest, most dependable, and private VPN available today. Please share all possibilities.

Considered this possibly the most effective method for a private network. It involves a significant cost due to the server and wire protection, which logs your data and allows it to be released through warrants or subpoenas. No, I’m not engaging in anything unlawful. I still value greater transparency, security, and privacy.

LMG created a video about setting up your own VPN. I also have a guide explaining how to use a VPN to securely access services at home that you prefer to keep private online.

I’m uncertain about relying heavily on a personal VPN setup. While it offers privacy benefits, the expense and effort might not be worth it. I prefer public VPN services that are easy to use across different devices. Between Express and Nord, which one do you think would give you the best balance of security and convenience?

It seems you're unsure about choosing a VPN provider. The best approach is to investigate each company and match them with your specific requirements.

Keep in mind that VPNs weren’t built to guarantee true anonymity; they don’t make you completely untraceable. Using a service from a company such as NordVPN only changes who might monitor you, not eliminates the risk entirely. For real privacy, consider using Tor instead.

As long as you rely on Cloudflare, why complicate things with all this VPN talk? Unless you're aiming to bypass local licensing rules, this won't assist (this keyboard). Also, verify your browsers aren't saving cookies and stay safe.

I need to know why you're using a VPN. It seems you might not grasp how it actually helps. If you think it blocks others from accessing your system, that's not the case. Concerned about staying untracked online? That doesn't work either. Want complete encryption between you and the service you use? No. A VPN isn't a quick fix—your device's fingerprint, phone details, and other data are already being tracked. Watch this video and rethink your priorities.
