You might not notice the change since you switched back to a simple username and password after using a Microsoft account. The previous linkage should still exist, but it may no longer be tied to that specific account.

If you installed Windows 7 from an ISO after using DBAN, and you still have the original product key, you should be able to recover the OS without issues.
