The 32-bit version of Windows is outdated. Likely due to the hardware being quite old and not very powerful. Running Windows on such a system would be impractical because it would be too resource-intensive.

Back in the day, that CPU was quite basic and struggled even with simple internet tasks. Today’s performance is so poor that using Windows just to do nothing feels excessive. The machine is outdated and barely functional. Even a minimal Linux setup would take ages to load Google, which is incredibly slow. In short, a Pentium 4 from 2002 runs faster than what you see now.
