I recently switched to a fiber optic connection and upgraded my networking system. They gave me an Optronix Router, but it had some problems. I asked for a replacement, but the same issue persisted. It turns out this model has certain limitations. I discovered a Gpon router with TP-Link (XN020-G3v). However, my ISP couldn’t set it up properly. The TP-Link service engineer advised me to create a password for my router. Anyone have any tips on how to configure it in an OLT? Since I’m new to this, I’d really appreciate your guidance.
What's going on?! The fiber units with a fiber ISP connection need the ISP to set up various details and passwords. Some of this info could reveal your identity, which makes it look odd that your ISP is handling this to track you. Or is there more going on?
