Absolutely support this viewpoint. It's common for graphics cards to fail unexpectedly, often without warning until replacement parts are needed. That's why I suggested verifying with another GPU.

What I'm stating is that it functions perfectly two minutes ago when running on the PC with the older processor.

It’s already in use and it started working fine after booting, but I’m unable to request a refund since I haven’t tested it on another machine.

The positive side is I wouldn’t have suggested the 9700f unless it functions properly. The standout options for you should be the i7 8700k or the i9 9900k. The i5s and i7s 9th generation models aren’t hyperthreaded, which really impacts performance in certain games and scenarios.

Place your RAM in the appropriate sockets. Start up using the BIOS with your previous CPU. Check if the BIOS version supports the 9700F. It will display your current BIOS release. Which version is installed on your motherboard?

Reviewed the mobile support page thoroughly. Needs BIOS v1901 or newer, launched on April 19, 2019. They mentioned they’ve upgraded to the latest BIOS, but I’m cautious about assuming it’s fully stable since BIOS updates can be unpredictable. @Pete002 Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the BIOS version?

The bios appears outdated. The latest version is 3004, and if it works, it should also upgrade TPM to 2.0.
