I recently purchased a refurbished RTX 4070 Super for my system. I was able to enter Windows normal mode yesterday without any preparation, but after installing the DDU driver installer incorrectly, I ended up with a black screen and no cursor. Despite watching numerous videos and forums, I’ve been reinstalling Windows on my SSD, yet my PC still doesn’t show any signal. I’ve confirmed the power is connected properly and the PSU appears capable of handling the TDP, as evidenced by the fans spinning when the system powers up.

I attempted solutions such as running command prompts like “sfc/scannow” and removing the latest Windows update, but couldn’t clear the feature update since it kept displaying errors. After these efforts, I performed a fresh Windows installation. My previous RX 550 GPU is functioning correctly, but the RTX 4070 Super remains unresponsive on screen, though the fans continue to operate.

Details:
- Ryzen 7 5700x
- MSI B550 Pro (non-WiFi) with 2x16GB Vulcanz DDR4 3200MHz RAM
- RX 550 (works)
- Corsair RM650 80+ Gold PSU
- PC is still relatively new and in good condition

I’m unable to display anything on the screen despite everything. Thanks.

Hi, I just tried redoing everything I did yesterday and finally managed to get into Windows, update drivers, and everything is now working properly.
At first, I thought it was a driver problem, but reseating helped a bit even though it was small. Getting any signal back was the main goal. Thanks for your help.
The fresh install of Windows really made a difference. I redoed the DDU using my old GPU first and finally got lucky when my GPU started showing a signal.
