I recently purchased a Gigabyte RTX 3070 from Newegg, priced slightly below MSRP because it was refurbished. After installation, my old 2060 12GB RAM was replaced with the new card. Once everything was connected and powered on, the motherboard booted normally, running its standard codes until it reached version 98, at which point it shut down again. Clearing the CMOS didn’t resolve the issue. I decided to return the refurbished unit, as it wasn’t functioning properly. After reinstalling the old RAM, everything worked fine—until I tried to launch a game. It updated automatically but kept freezing when loading 3D assets, restarting intermittently. Eventually, the "Republic of Gamers" logo wouldn’t appear even after pressing F2 to enter BIOS.
