I’m going to try formatting again and skip the Windows update, maybe it’s related to that. In my country, SSDs are quite expensive—about three to four times the cost of a regular HDD.

You don’t require a massive SSD, just enough to store Windows and your frequently used apps. The rest can reside on the HDD. You’ll likely find a 128GB SSD for around $20. Be sure to avoid DRAMless models—SSDs offer the greatest boost in speed.

Everything seems fine for you, but I suggest the Samsung EVO 860, Crucial MX500 or AData (if you prefer something more affordable).
