The discussion mentions a budget motherboard compatible with Ryzen 5 3600, but you don’t have the Ryzen 2 Gen CPUs. You can still update the BIOS without requiring those older processors. The motherboard should support your intended CPU setup once the BIOS is updated.

If the stock is new or it was manufactured recently it will most likely support zen 2 If it didn't then ask the vendor / a computer store to update it for you But don't get this board It's decent but the pro 4 should be better and should cost around the same

You're right, some boards include a port for USB updates without a CPU. However, this specific model doesn't offer that option. Still, I believe it's important to have the BIOS compatible with at least the second or third generation Ryzen processors.

Generally yes, but if the shares are quite old it’s unlikely they’ll still be available.

It might not be worth it since there are good opinions about it, but the price is $80 locally.

For a lower price, you can obtain a professional-grade 4 and it's a superior choice.

That's why I'm reaching out. I understand this board is compatible with 3Gen, but I'm not sure if it's been updated recently. Maybe I should wait for a response from the shop via email.
