When you need a USB drive just for installing Windows once, avoid overpriced options. A standard 4-8GB stick is sufficient. The time it takes to install Windows—10 minutes versus 15 minutes—matters little since you’ll only be doing it once. At my job, a cheap Lexar 8GB drive cost me just £2.
