I believe Windows 10 offers a strong idea. I tried dual booting my PC with Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview and was impressed. The interface feels smooth and modern, with many fresh features that broaden its adaptability across different settings. A few minor issues stood out—like the thin task bar making it hard to see on some screens—and the buttons for closing windows, minimizing, and shrinking were spaced too far apart, giving a less intuitive feel. I appreciate how the default wallpapers have been updated, making the system look like a brand new version rather than just an updated older one (Windows 8).

It's available and performs better than Windows 8.1? You can mention that you prefer it.

The system is running Windows 10, yet it fails to detect your FreeNAS server. The default workgroup remains set to WORKGROUP.

I believe so, but I'm not entirely confident I'll need to verify this.

Apologies for the delayed reply. I've been away for some time. The standard workgroup is WORKGROUP.
