Reflections on the battlefield
Reflections on the battlefield
I first noticed some game images a while back and was thrilled. Now watching it on YouTube and Twitch doesn’t spark the same excitement. The visuals are great, though—I’m planning to try the beta but won’t purchase the full version anytime soon. I’ll stick with BF 4. Anyone else sharing similar thoughts?
What turned me off is matchmaking. No server browser = no buy. Ill wait till bf5 comes in fall 2016.
It seems the experience is all about visuals without much interaction. The gameplay feels very simple, almost like a shooter with quick pickups similar to COD. I considered purchasing it but ended up not pre-ordering. My graphics card would likely fail before it even started.
Recommended specs include 16 gigabytes of RAM (that's impressive!) and a 970 gigahertz processor. It seems to match the standard if it doesn't exceed ARMA 3 in visual performance, or it might be of lower quality.
It seems Summit is doing a great job compared to BF 4. You can watch them live on Twitch right now.
They're marketing the RAM as if it's essential, but their tests used an i7 4790 with 8GB already. They ran the game smoothly at around 80 FPS, so extra 16GB probably isn't necessary.
Battlefront is essentially a rebranded version of Battlefield 4.
I'm feeling the same way as everyone else. The visuals are impressive, but the action feels quite dull...
