Reflections on ArcheAge
I initially wanted to try Alpha but realized it was a $150 purchase. Eventually, I became interested again after learning they would release it as free-to-play. <rant> I planned to buy a pack for a four-day advantage, but things quickly went wrong. It took three days to receive the authentication code needed to log in and purchase the game (which I no longer needed). Now, after returning from school for two consecutive days, I’m stuck in a long 4K queue... Like what? Trion, are you serious? There are seven servers, targeting EU players and users from Asia (except Koreans) who are likely on EU servers. </rant> What do you think?
registered, entered beta phase, didn’t take the time to download, a lot of schoolwork lately, they might have timed it more effectively
It's incredibly exciting, but unfortunately I can't play at the moment because of long lines and a glitch that puts me back in line immediately.
Spent some time playing earlier, doing well so far, now waiting to join the server.
I really enjoy the game and spent $150 for the alpha. It does have some problems when it first launches, but that's common with new releases, particularly MMOs (not implying it's bad, just not ideal compared to others). As for you, try a different server. Every well-known MMO usually has a queue on popular platforms, especially during launch, which will likely decrease over time.
