I just installed the patch and played for 30 minutes to check my CPU usage. Before it, I was at 85% on one core and 70-80% on others. After the patch, my usage is much lower. One core is still higher than the rest, but they rarely reach 70%. That gives me more room for performance. How did your experience go? Any improvements noticed? It’s a lot of patches for a game meant to be flawless… Yet nobody anticipated anything beyond that. Still, we’re glad Rockstar managed to get something out.
It's nice that the CPU usage dropped since my processor isn't the most efficient one, it really needs all the support it can receive.
Yes, considering how long it took to get the game, it should have improved. They’re working on fixing issues and they’ve also released cheat codes for story mode on PC, so it’s not like they’re ignoring problems. I’ve spent 40 hours on Steam for GTA V without any crashes or problems. I don’t mind the port at all.
