Bootcamp connects directly with the hardware. The virtual machine operates within a virtual or emulated setting. Therefore, performance may improve when all drivers are properly installed.

The virtual experience felt more reliable in my opinion. Using Steam to launch the app trio seemed smoother, especially since both icons were already on my desktop. From a technical standpoint, I’d appreciate seeing measurable improvements in speed and efficiency. In theory, direct mode should outperform virtual, but I’m curious about the practical impact. From a budget perspective, I saved money by not purchasing a key or trying to fake Windows functions. The only subscription I chose was for Crossfire to keep it updated; the free version sufficed. I just want to compare performance data between the two options.
