I was testing one finger death punch on my UX301, but most of the time I saw a steady 60 while playing the game. In survival mode, especially with Nunchuk and Lasersword, hitting twice would drop my FPS. I checked this using Fraps. It seems there might be more going on on the screen affecting performance. I repeated the test on my dual Titan Black rig and got the same issue. Is it possible that lowering FPS is meant to make things harder? I also noticed I couldn’t sustain a 30 FPS, getting long streaks before it dropped to 30, then barely reaching 10 kills afterward. Very puzzling.

The developer designed the game so that increased difficulty reduces your frames per second, which is concerning.

The performance drops quickly because the frames per second are so low. Starting at 60 fps, it falls to 30 fps after two hits, and at that rate it becomes too jagged for a game with many enemies on screen at once.

Play GTA: San Andreas for a while. The frame rate is around 25 FPS.

This was the way I improved at TPS. Everyone did it this way. It sharpens your strategies and abilities, though the overall experience remains frustrating.
