I had to disconnect my HDD to reset the Windows installation on my M.2 drive. After reconnecting it, I saw a 30MB/s drop in write speed and a noticeable decrease in max frame rates across all games. There seems to be an issue with the drive or driver configuration. It might help to reinstall the Nvidia driver or check for firmware updates. The motherboard itself isn’t inherently fragile, but performance can vary based on setup.
