In past Steam summer/winter promotions, there were... Daily Deals (24 hours) now renamed Featured Deals (48 hours), Flash Deals (8 hours) remain Flash Deals (12 hours); however, instead of four games, now there are six Community Choice options still called Community Choice (24 hours). I'm not upset with Steam, these deals are still great and they don't have to change this way, but I think I'm just disappointed or let down. What do you think?
It's true I'm a bit disappointed. Last winter's sale gave me lots of games, but now with fewer options available it's not as great as before. Still, it's better than what console players get.
The right word wasn't the issue... I think I'm not as thrilled now as before. Perhaps it's because after handling several sales, I've noticed many of the discounted games are just copies from earlier ones. Or maybe the prices during sales match regular rates on platforms like G2A all year long.
I believe the timer feature has some issues since the previous sale mentioned an offer ending in two days, yet it actually updated every 24 hours.
