I recently switched my Intel Core i3 7100 to an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 while keeping my NVIDIA GTX 1050. I now experience Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at a significantly quicker pace, although the fluidity isn’t ideal. Previously, I achieved 100 frames per second with my older processor, utilizing 60% of its capacity. Following the upgrade, I began experiencing lag, and my graphics card’s utilization consistently exceeded that of my processor, resulting in occasional frame drops which I find frustrating. The CPU is currently operating at 20-30% capacity, and I’m seeking advice.

The processor activity is satisfactory. The graphics card utilization would consistently exceed your central processing unit’s performance. Before, your processor was relatively limited compared to the newer processor. Concerning lag, consider reinstalling your operating system and updating your motherboard firmware.

Indeed, I refreshed my motherboard firmware and reinstalled Windows. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive frequently demands significant processing power, resulting in noticeable sluggishness. Are my system’s performance indicators appearing as expected? Please see: https://imgur.com/LGB1kzI
