Hey there, I’m facing a problem with GTA 5 and thought you might be able to assist. My setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 32 GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM (2x 16 GB), MSI Gaming Edge x570, and ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080. I’ve checked YouTube videos comparing similar systems at 4K, but they all report over 100 FPS. However, my experience is around 30 to 40 FPS or lower, especially in borderless windowed mode. It seems I need to run the game in a non-full-screen window to even reach 60 FPS. Any tips?

Are you certain these are 2080 videos rather than the 2080 Ti?
I could also mention that my GPU never exceeds 50% utilization.
for some odd reason I'm experiencing severe FPS drops, almost dropping to zero in the menus. It's like I can be at 188 FPS in the menu but then suddenly it plummets to just 10 FPS and becomes completely unresponsive, with loading times taking 10 to 15 seconds or more.
