You're experiencing performance issues in Fortnite with your GTX 1070 TI. The GPU usage seems high (40%-65%) and the frame rate drops despite max settings. It might be related to your monitor—1200x1920 at 60Hz could strain the GPU. Also, the CPU is heavily loaded (70%-100%). Consider checking your monitor's capabilities or adjusting settings to reduce GPU demand.

By default, VSync is disabled which means it doesn’t matter if you’re using a 60Hz monitor. Your CPU shouldn’t reach 100 percent—maybe around 60%, but not full. Something seems off. I suggest running DDU "Display Driver Uninstaller" in safe mode, cleaning and restarting, then coming back to normal mode. Install the newest WHQL drivers and let us know how Fortnite performs. By default, drivers are set to application controlled for VSync. Make sure VSync isn’t enabled in Fortnite. Please tell us what happens. Good luck!

Because I misled you about the 1070 TI doesn't mean it's useless. Intel has made CPUs after that, so it's still bad quality.

You're being unclear about the situation. Just because newer versions exist doesn't mean older ones are automatically outdated. I personally use a GTX 780, my phone is a Galaxy S3, and my CPU is a Ryzen 5 1600. It's important to check real benchmarks before drawing conclusions. Intel hasn't shown much innovation lately, so even a 2600K feels comparable to an 8700K, which makes your point seem a bit weak if you're being honest. The 2600K was released in 2011.

I told the truth to push for an extra upgrade. Your situation isn’t my responsibility—you have a GTX 780 and a Galaxy S3. Look for someone who lists a 2600K on their specs and is showing off about it. Having bragging rights adds value to new gear.
