I monitor my FPS and CPU/GPU usage while playing CS:GO. The view shows my performance. I experience low FPS in CS:GO, even on the lowest settings, and this issue persists across other games like GTA V and Overwatch. I have attempted various troubleshooting steps without success. My computer emits beeps after extended gaming sessions; its relevance is unknown.

Specifications: GTX 1070, i7 7700k, 16GB RAM 2133 MHz.

Update motherboard drivers.
Confirm 16GB of RAM.
Update GPU drivers.
Close the browser.
In Nvidia Control Panel, navigate to Manage 3D Settings and configure: Power Management Mode – set to either Adaptive or Max; Texture Filtering – Quality: set to High Performance; Vertical Sync – set to Fast, but if Fast isn’t available, set to Off; Off can cause screen tearing, after which the next best option is Adaptive.
