A few months back my brother provided me a USB thumb drive with Microsoft Visual Studio.exe and a Notepad file holding a Windows 10 Enterprise license. I tried using it but am curious if I can downgrade from Windows 10 Enterprise to Windows 10 Pro.

I think you need to reinstall for full functionality. The main differences between Pro and Enterprise versions are minimal on a regular home desktop. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_10_editions
