I'll attempt this tomorrow after work. I don't have backups on these drives. My baby is an Intel 530. I just didn't want to risk losing the drive that came with the desktop. I removed it and worked with another drive I already had. So yes, I'll try it, make changes, and reformat once the system recognizes it again? Then I'll start over by putting the USB back in and checking if I can boot into Windows 7.
