Hello. Your HP Pavilion G6 has the specs you mentioned. I'm experiencing low performance when running Dying Light at the lowest settings, aiming for 800x600 resolution and only 15-20 frames per second. Despite using the Dying Light Manager from NexusMods, the frame rate remains stuck around 15-20 fps. I'm looking for advice on further reducing quality to reach at least 30 fps. Any suggestions?
Ensure no background programs are active, even with Skype or a single browser window open. Closing them will help. Installing the Dying Light Performance Manager Mod provides additional settings for performance adjustments.
I'm not quite sure about the full strength of your setup, but my GTX 555m struggled to run Dying Light at 720p. Even with some of the suggestions I mentioned, it would only play smoothly for about 30 seconds before freezing. When things got more intense, there were big drops in performance. Did you just leave the building? My laptop could handle it at 1600x900 in medium settings, but you’d need to finish training and leave for it to work better. Otherwise, it remained quite limited at 720p even in lower settings.
