I’ll begin by noting that a ping of 60-70 is generally acceptable, but there are ways to improve it further. Consider optimizing your network settings, reducing latency, and ensuring your hardware supports high-speed connectivity.

Limited activity. Avoid steam running unless necessary, otherwise minimal progress. Consider joining the same area as the servers for faster performance. Are you located close to the server you're playing on?

Ping relies on the "distance" between you and the device you're communicating with. This includes both the actual wire length and the number of routers or servers involved. As @Downkey mentioned, most changes you can make are limited in this scenario. Reducing ping in games usually means connecting to a server nearer to your real location.

I believe starting with a basic understanding of what "ping" means helps clarify the issue. Without context, numbers like "my ping is 60-70" don't provide clear insight. To obtain these values, someone on the local network or online must have performed a ping test against it, and the result can vary widely depending on the target. I can check my home router's latency right now—1 to 2 milliseconds—or test a server in Australia, which might show 100 to 200 milliseconds. The main point is, where are you seeing these results from? What exactly is being measured? If it’s your local device, the numbers will likely be poor. If it’s a distant server, they might be normal.
