*** From a different thread ***
@henry_7peed, avoid taking over other threads. Regarding your point, ping measures the delay data takes to travel between you and the server. No software can reduce it. To enhance performance, restrict other applications from using your internet (like downloading or streaming), limit simultaneous connections on the same network, and even a faster connection won’t help if you’re trying to reach a server far away.

The link quality between cat5 and cat6 cables isn't crucial for your 8 Mbps connection. Both can work, but cat6 generally offers better performance and future-proofing.

Cables aren't the key to a faster internet speed; they only affect your LAN connection. For improved performance, you'll need to upgrade your package by contacting your ISP or switching providers. *Cat5e supports 10G over short ranges, while Cat6 or Cat6a can reach longer distances. Cat6 handles 10G up to 55 meters, and Cat6a extends to 100 meters.* Please confirm your understanding.

Thanks for the details. I located a tariff option that matches your needs based on the speed "xfinity - Blast! ® Internet".

What's the point of tariffs? They seem outdated now.

Is this confusing for you? Or is it hard to find human assistance? I don’t have anyone to talk to except online. Are you responsible for this?

Stay cool, the point is clear—just a note on tariffs.

Everything is fine, sorry if it seemed rude. I really want to play and stream without freezing. But for some reason I often have a high ping, I unload all unnecessary programs whenever possible. But that doesn't save the situation.
