Hello. Your router's actual download speed is showing 15-16 Mbps, but tests indicate it's around 1020 kbps up/down. This discrepancy might be due to network congestion or testing conditions.

What rate are you getting? The rates from your modem likely reflect the connection speed, and your ISP might cap it at a slower rate, which is expected to be less than what you see listed.

Steam influences how fast things move, setting the pace even if it doesn’t care about speed itself. Your link can handle unlimited bandwidth, but steam controls the actual data flow.

The connection is around 22mbps, but the router caps it. I don't know why.

Thank you for your guidance. Upgrading the connection to 50mbps would truly be ideal. Right now, we're averaging about 1.9mb/s, which is great but not perfect—especially with four users sharing the network.
