I improved my GPU to an RTX 2060 from a GTX 750 Ti. Previously, I consistently achieved over 200 FPS in Valorant, but after the upgrade, some sessions dropped below that even at low settings. I’m unsure what to do. Was the RTX 2060 underperforming in 2021? Is optimizing for Valorant not effective? Does the RTX 2060 work well in general gaming? Before playing, FPS often jumps by more than 800. Could you share some tips?

Have you reinstalled your driver? You'll need the newest version to benefit from optimizations for the RTX 2060.

I first attempted to reinstall drivers, then reinstalled the game and formatted Windows. Still nothing works. The FPS is extremely low in Valorant even at low settings. I've checked another game to see if graphics issues are the problem, but it performed well at 70+ FPS in high settings.

You may need to reinstall or update drivers, the game itself, and sometimes the GPU isn't the issue—CPU limitations can also play a role.
