When I picked my initial ship option, the game instantly stopped with a critical error. That’s quite disappointing, especially since Epic Games is known for its stability.

GPU model is GTX 1650, CPU runs i5 10400. Display settings are 2560x1440 with HDR activated. Borderless feature is turned on.

Consider restarting the epic, as that resolved the issue. The 1gb update helped fix it.
