Someone in your family seems to have set up a New Zealand connection, which causes search results to point there. The site redirects to a NZ version when you visit from another country. You're unsure if Spotify is linked to Google and are seeing Aussie and Kiwi-style ads. Let me know if you'd like advice on resolving this.

Remove past records or navigate to settings and switch to English at the bottom of the interface might have been a quick search result.

Remove Chrome and then install it again. Sign out from your Google account and sign back in. Adjust your Google account settings and modify your location.

I believed this referred to the issue where I couldn't reach www.google.com using Internet Explorer or Firefox. It began with an error message from IE, then moved to Firefox, leading me to Chrome. It wasn’t just a simple connection failure or missing file—something felt off, like a "travel to website canceled." Odd!

Clear your cookies. Chrome redirected you to another page after connection problems. Deleting all cookies should resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, the issue didn't resolve as expected. It appears both ad targeting and country-based search results depend on your location. All devices passing through my router are redirected to Google New Zealand, and ads for Spotify and YouTube are specifically New Zealand promotions. The only option mentioned is reaching out to my ISP to modify my IP address, which feels like a significant step for something I should be able to adjust directly.
