He seems to be sharing unconfirmed rumors about performance differences between GPU types. To verify, look into community discussions, official tech reviews, and benchmark comparisons involving ATI/AMD and NVidia cards. Check forums or trusted gaming sites for real-world testing results rather than anecdotal claims.

We still don’t have the full picture—this game isn’t finalized yet. It seems companies like EA, AMD, or Nvidia haven’t commented. It might have been mentioned somewhere online where it was taken out of their... well, whatever.

Currently, top-tier NVIDIA GPUs clearly outperform AMD options, making that claim unlikely. Even games previously optimized for AMD are essentially wins for NVIDIA at the 980 Ti/Fury level. Still, I’m skeptical about a big gap between new green/red team cards in similar performance ranges.

The game hasn't finished launching yet; what we have now is likely Battlefield 4, though it might not be very consistent.

I believe AMD has funded EA's Frostbite 3 engine titles up to now, though the current versions (BF4, BF: Hardline, DA: Inquisition) perform quite similarly across Nvidia and AMD platforms. I wouldn't let this influence your buying choice if that's what you're considering.

He might be implying that since AMD was closely tied to the PC release of Battlefield 4—though it's unclear if it was a hardline stance—the graphics cards from both AMD and Nvidia performed quite similarly in the game.

I tested it on a 980 with all settings enabled and it performed well, staying stable at around 60 FPS. With V-Sync active, it handled the load nicely, though it’s a high-end model so it could tackle most games smoothly.
