Ensure all connections are secure, particularly power and fans. Verify proper CPU contact, check for bent pins, and confirm RAM is fully installed. Do you have another system available to transfer the latest BIOS to a USB drive? The board can handle BIOS flashing even without a CPU. If everything is correctly plugged in, that would be the initial step I'd take to address the problem.
Did you clear the CMOS memory ? This is an easy procedure and can solve some issues. Do you know which version of BIOS your motherboard has ? You can flash the latest BIOS in hopes that it can fix compatibility issues. Thanks for your updates! It seems I missed connecting the SATA cable to my fan hub, which caused the fans to stop spinning. After following the instructions and updating the BIOS, it took roughly five minutes. The system was showing a red light on the CPU, and the white light was flashing. I’m now considering the CPU might be faulty. I ordered one from Amazon and plan to test it out on Tuesday. I’m really disappointed—I wish I had bought a prebuilt unit instead.
I overlooked mentioning that. Did you reset the CMOS after updating the BIOS? (A few minutes is typical for a BIOS install.) I also missed asking about your wait time when trying to boot. DDR5 RAM requires some initialization, which can take several minutes—during which debug lights might flash and the system could restart multiple times. I recommend waiting at least 15 minutes before considering the computer unresponsive. Good luck!
